After months of jury deliberation, some of the country’s most impressive architecture projects were celebrated last week, as the winners of the New South Wales Architecture Awards were announced.

Across 12 categories, 51 awards were given from a pool of 97 shortlisted projects and 221 overall entries. New South Wales Chapter President Kathlyn Loseby spoke to significant impact architecture has on the places we live, and reflected on the collaborative nature of the industry. ‘Good design is far more than aesthetic achievement – it takes collaboration amongst willing clients, good builders and appropriate procurement methods to make it an enduring success,’ Kathlyn said.

Projects that received an architecture award or a named award (and are listed below) will now progress to compete in the National Architecture Awards program – congrats!
