It goes without saying that we are pretty massive fans of iconic Australian artist Ken Done, and have been lucky to meet and feature him on a couple of occasions. Ken is always brilliantly inspiring, and never without a twinkle in his eye. It’s not hard to see why he is truly an Australian LEGEND.

So, when much loved Aussie bedlinen and homewares brand Sheridan approached us to document a very special project with Ken this year, we jumped at the chance!

Having created bedlinen with Ken Done way back in the 1980’s (fellow children of this era I am sure will have nostalgic memories of snoozing under Ken Done doona covers!), it seems fitting that Sheridan are celebrating their 50th year anniversary this year with a very limited Ken Done bedlinen and homewares collection – YES PLEASE!

Known for their long history of expertise in textile design and production, Sheridan’s 2017 summer collection features two vibrant quilt sets, two scatter cushions, and one beach towel – all showcasing Ken’s signature painterly brush strokes and vibrant colours. After all, as Ken says – “why shouldn’t you sleep under a painting?!”

Sheridan by Ken Done is available online NOW and will be in stores in late July. Sydney readers can also attend a meet and greet with Ken at Westfield Bondi Junction Sheridan store on August 3rd from 6:00pm!
