Arro Home Furniture Range

It’s been a little over two years since local homewares retailer Arro Home launched, and this week they are celebrating the release of their debut furniture collection.

The extensive range includes sofa and dining options, as well as coffee tables, side tables and ottomans. Designed to be mixed and matched with their pre-exisiting range of colourful soft furnishings and homewares, the collection is contemporary, quirky and fun.

A little over two years ago, Adam Rogers started a local homewares business called Arro Home. Along with a core team of creative staff, he hoped to create an accessible design label that embraced its number one philosophy: design for everyday. Their products were to be fun, colourful and unpretentious, with earlier ranges focused on homewares, soft furnishings and rugs. ‘We want to make products people want to live with,’ says Adam.

It was also always Arro’s intention to offer furniture as part of their wider range. ‘I consider decorating a home a layering process, you can start with a rug and build upon that,’ mentions Adam. ‘Furniture is a natural addition, and we wanted to offer that, as I felt there was a space for well designed and affordable pieces.’

After almost two years in development, prototyping and manufacturing, this week Arro launches its first range of furniture. The collection evokes Arro’s signature personality traits of colour, quirk and fun. The preliminary range includes 10 sofa styles, ottomans, coffee and side tables, side boards, dining tables and dining chairs. New pieces will be added to the collection semi-regularly to complement Arro’s existing homewares range, now in its seventh season. ‘The beauty of creating furniture is that if we can get the design right, we can create something that’s timeless!’ Adam says.

Arro’s furniture range is available online here, or for viewing by appointment at their South Yarra showroom.
