Kirra Jamison loves Japan!

Today we welcome Kirra Jamison to the Guest Blog! Enoshima beach just outside of Tokyo is all kinds of wrong. It’s the Miami of Japan and a mecca for false eyelashes. Not what I was expecting from a day at the beach but loads of fun and unbelievable people watching.

For the past three months I’ve had the good fortune of calling Tokyo home. Despite (small) earthquakes, (big) typhoons and a sweltering hot summer it was an inspiring few months and I have definitely rekindled my love for Japanese culture. Today I'm sharing a mixed bag of photographs taken during the trip. I hope you enjoy my week of all things Japanese.

There is a lot to love about this little organic cafe in Osaka. Tomomi Yokota opened  Le Coccole four years ago after quiting her job as a software engineer for Fuji Film! Tomomi now spends her days making delicious organic food and sharing her love of macrobiotic cooking.Check out Tomomi's amazing pumpkin and tofu cake on Keke, my new recipe blog project. And by the way Osaka is a rad, soulful city that's often over-shadowed by Tokyo, so make sure not to leave it off your itinerary when you visit Japan!
