As well as introducing the above new designers to Alice this Summer, we also have our long-standing favorites. First Ellery, who is producing two Summer collections this season. Utilizing the highest quality fabrics in her range, you can expect full, accentuated hips, trailing hemlines and the return of the structured blazer, a style Kym has perfected (and sells out each season in a flash).

Romance was Born has been a favourite at Alice since their first collection. Summer is divided into two this year, the first collection is a collaboration with Sydney-based artist Nell including her comical yet dark ‘Mother’ and ‘Meow’ prints. The second collection is decadent 20’s inspired collection of in-house jewel and art deco prints with the flair of old Hollywood with a spooky vibe.

We can’t wait to receive the Lover collection, always a sell out and with the injection of bright scarlet French lace into this season we predict these pieces (in particular the Serpent Lace Dress) will be an instant hit and Lover collectible. Their show at RAFW this year was a highlight and demonstrated the professionalism and charm that we have come to relish from them.

Melbourne darling Stephanie Downey of Dress Up has presented us with yet another collection of highly-wearable, feminine future classics including the season after season sell out silhouette of the Square Pocket Trouser, as well as vintage-inspired shifts, blouses and in her Summer injection a range of classic basics – linen tees, cuffed shorts and mini-dresses. We’re looking forward to a window installation from Stephanie in September, as well as a mini-launch to introduce the new collection.
