Liane Rossler continues this excellent Happy Shopper week with a visit to Shelf/Life and Planet furniture! Both stores are especially beautiful and have an environmental conscience, but I particularly love the details about the community that create the Dharma Door jute bags. - Jenny x

Dharma Door jute bags and totes are timeless in design and are useful for so many things. Made in Bangladesh. The women in this 20,000 strong collective get together everyday to weave bags, baskets and homewares so that they can afford to be independent, educate their daughters and give them greater opportunities. Empowering through design.
