OK at the risk of seriously testing TDF’s bandwidth this week, we have another STELLAR giveaway for you! When first approached by Cool Galah (who you might also notice are one of our brand new advertisers this month) I was SO impressed with their unique range of towels. It’s so rare to see towels designed with bold prints and pattern – something Missoni have had the monopoly on for far too long!
Cool Galah is a dynamic little company producing a range of graphic printed towels in this beautiful restrained colour palette. The business was launched in 2008 by Dutch-born, US-based Katarina Bijlsma, and Melbourne-based Anna Lofts. Katarina designs the range, whilst Anna takes care of the business end, distributing the range nationally through her existing company, Linen & Moore. Katarina works on the range from San Francisco, where she has been living since 2002 with her Australian husband, architectural photographer Tim Griffith.

ooh, I stupidly just bleached all my towels by accident from using a hardcore face wash (hate to think what it was doing to my skin?). The Herringbone range would be a gorgeous replacement. Nice to see this lovely range, there was definitely a gap in the market.
Oh the herringbone is great. We are finally moving out of my mother’s garage into our own pad after losing our place in the floods in Feb and like a lot of other things we lost our towels in the rush of trying to get everything out. I found them 5 days later in the washing machine full of Brisbane filth, so these would be a lovely replacement. :)

Totally agree there is a dearth of good patterned bath towels. I made the most of the good aussie dollar recently and splurged on a couple of marimekko towels, but it is nice to see something with a homegrown connection – COOL GALAH… how utterly endearingly aussie.

WOW so hard to choose, as I can’t say them all the circle with taupe and eggshell is just lovely. All good designs in a great neutral pallette.
So I guess I’ve missed out on the giveaway, but I love them anyway! It’s got to be the dark textured tweed or the dark multi stripe for me….
