Treasure Hunting in Mudgee – Sunday Collector gets hitched!

Today we say THANK YOU and bye bye to Briar Stanley after a fantastic week of Treasure Hunting in Mudgee. The town of Mudgee will always hold a place in my heart.

My husband and I got married there just over a year ago (our one year wedding anniversary was last Sunday). I’ll admit, I went a little over the top with the details for the big day and I’ll never forget a family friend excitedly telling me she had ‘left the wedding with a show bag of loot’. I would like to share a few memories with you, photographed by Amanda Mclauchlan.

The ceremony took place under a large Elm tree on the historical grounds of Oakfield Estate.

My bridesmaids chose their own dresses, and my niece and nephew stole the show in their mini-me outfits (image by Nicola Greenaway).

I spent hours (some mind numbing) designing and collating the wedding stationery. Flowers by Jodie Mcgregor in Annandale.

We celebrated well in to the evening at the Logan cellar door with food by the super talented local caterer, Rachael McCarthey. I wouldn’t change a thing about the weekend, except Mudgee did decide to turn on the humidity in a big way that day.

Today is Friday, so it is time for me to say goodbye. Not before I say thank you for following my treasure hunting in Mudgee and leaving your comments. I am so pleased to announce that Lauren Treiser will be receiving a case of Logan wine on her door step!
