I am amazed by today's AURA Travel Guest Blog. Not only were Tracie and Jaine traveling through Europe for work and photographing all the amazing treats we've seen over the past few days, they also found the time to stop and smell the roses. And photograph them too! Today we see the Colours in Nature that captured their hearts while traveling. Inspired, I think I'll be coming home with a bunch of flowers today! - Jenny x

Vertical Garden in Anthropologie’s Regent St store!

Today’s post is about colours in nature – the most inspiring, as regardless of the season, or the location, there’s always something new. Nature is always a large part of our AURA inspiration when designing our new seasons collection.

The lush vertical garden show above is in Anthropologie’s Regent St store and is a real feast for the eyes and senses – this would look great on my fence at home!

Flowers, flowers everywhere.

Who doesn’t love fresh flowers? Have a look at the sprigs of rosemary tucked in beside the fuchsia roses, it’s a gorgeous touch and an idea to steal for home! (ok more orange roses I know!!)
Image on the left from Joe and the Juice!

Joe and the Juice is a popular Danish juice & coffee bar. We loved the big wicker baskets full of fresh fruit waiting to be juiced and they made a good coffee too!

Rust coloured leaves and the silhouette of winter trees, a fabulous stairway at the Apostrophe Hotel Paris – is it wallpaper or paint?  Autumnal leaves make a statement in London.

The lovely Paris, beautiful at all times of the year, but especially in Winter. I love the shadow of the trees over the city, which makes Paris more mysterious and wonderful.

Then there’s some German nature!  These wonderful straight trees were growing inside a café at the Heimtextil in Frankfurt, and, at left, we came across this magazine article with a man soaking up nature on the banks of Konigssee Lake. The article describes him as 'a fine figure of a man' out experiencing 'nature' we couldn’t agree more!

Off to dream - Tracie x
