Perhaps you might know artist Marnie Gilder by her maiden name Marnie Wark?  Under this name she has created large scale abstract paintings for the past 10 years,  and has been represented by a number of galleries in Australia including Tim Olsen in Sydney and Scott Livesy in Melbourne.  After having a child Marnie felt she could no longer keep up with the exhibition schedule, and so, naturally, she decided to reinvent herself!  Marnie now represents herself, and creates small editions of screenprinted works which you can buy in her brand new online shop!

Marnie has a very transient life at the moment... part of her time is spent on a remote sheep and cattle station (near the Alpine National Park, VIC), some of her time is spent in her city pied-a-terre in Prahran, and the rest of her time is spent in an old Victorian home in Sale (Gippsland). 'Our bags are always packed...' she says!

I LOVE the bold yet playful nature of her graphic prints... so striking and yet so fun and friendly...!  I predict great demand for these limited edition pieces!

All of Marnie's work has been designed and screen printed by hand, by Marnie herself. All pieces are signed and dated and are in editions never larger than 10!  They mostly cost around $550 each... BARGAIN!  Do pop over and check them out!
