Sew La Tea Do - Pip Lincolne's new book, with photos by John Laurie.

OK so if you are in MELBOURNE and you read BLOGS then chances are you are well aware of the recent launch of Pip Lincolne's second book - Sew La Tea Do!  Pip is of course the smiling face behind Meet me at Mikes shop and blog, Brown Owls crafty meet-ups and many other local crafty endeavours!  Being a fellow Melbourne blog lady I am very excited today to jump on Pip's book bandwagon by offering a fantastic giveaway of Sew La Tea Do!

One lucky Design Files reader will win -

- 1 copy of Sew La Tea Do (valued at AU$50.00)

- a $100 gift voucher - to Patchwork on Central Park - perfect to get you started on your first Sew La Tea Do project!

Alls ya have to you is leave a comment here before midnight tonight Melbourne time (October 25th).  A winner will be selected from the comments at random and notified tomorrow by email!

*Update - thanks for your patience!  The winning comment is no. 37 - congratulations Anna! Thanks so much for all your entries and once again to Pip for this excellent giveaway!

If you subscribe to these posts by email please don't reply to your daily email - just pop over to thedesignfiles.net and leave your comment to be in the running!

Sew La Tea Do includes 24 delightful new crafty projects to try for yourself, your home and your family.  ALSO the book was photographed by my friend and occasional collaborator John Laurie - who is an amazing photographer and one lovely guy (remember I interviewed him here?).  SO that's one MORE reason to put Sew La Tea Do on your wishlist :)

Pip Lincolne, John Laurie and Michelle McKintosh make some pretty pictures for the book!  John Laurie does not normally look this odd in real life.  He may kill me for publishing this peculiar photo.  More behind the scenes action can be seen here and here :)

Pip will be at Readings Carlton to launch the book on Tuesday November 9th!  Info is here!  You should phone Readings book your spot to avoid missing out... after all Pip is one popular lady!

Pip would also love everyone to know that she is currently running Meet me and Mike's annual 'Softies for Mirabel' event - if you are handy with a sewing machine, crochet hook or knitting needle you should pop over here and learn a bit more about how you can make a cheerful handcrafted softie for a very special kid through the Mirabel Foundation!

Great work Pip and huge thanks to Meet me at Mikes, Hardie Grant and Patchwork on Central Park for this brilliant crafty giveaway!

More behind the scenes action from the Sew La Tea Do studio shoot - vintage prop heaven!
