- Even MORE excellent finds from Justine today.... this time, it's a round-up of her favourite Japan-based online shops!  PERFECT!  I can't quite afford a plane ticket to Tokyo at the moment... but... those Claska lightshades and ceramics seem like a good trade off in the meantime!?  Bookmark bookmark bookmark... - Lucy x

If you love Japanese design but can’t make it over there, the next best way to discover new creations and their latest products is via Japanese shops that exist online. I browse them all the time and my bookmarked section of favourite sites is now full of beautiful shops that stock incredibly gorgeous goods. I visit them whenever I can, to do a spot of window shopping – it’s a really great way to see what’s new and out there and to be inspired too! When the Upon A Fold shop launched around 7 months ago, I remember reading this sentence on a blog somewhere, “Justine travels the world with her husband Matt sourcing paper goods for their online shop” or something like that. I thought WOWWW, how awesome does that sound?? If only it were true! The truth is, up until my recent visit to Tokyo all the paper goods in the shop were found online. Nope, sorry no glamorous “travelling the world” story to share here. Just loads and loads of browsing, clicking and emailing. And although I’m mainly searching for paper goods, I’m forever being distracted and falling in love with objects made from other materials too. So today I thought I would share some of my favourite finds with you. They come from many different Japanese online shops and all the links are listed below for you to bookmark too. Not all the products are from Japan - some of the antiques have been sourced from Europe. But each and every object is just so beautiful and if I were to add a sneaky ‘paper-free’ section in my shop, these are all the things I would include! Happy Browsing and see you tomorrow for my last guest post. Justine x
