'Nature takes a hand' shop in Seoul
Nature takes a hand - cute flowers in rustic crates out the front... and clothing folded so neatly in store!
- Today is Day 2 of Telegram Paper Goods' Korean diary - over to Scott! Day 2 in Seoul and I hit the streets hunting down the best new shops, store fronts and stationery products. In a city like Seoul it helps to have a guide to point you in the right direction, luckily Jaehyck and Yoon from O-Check join me and we head off. Jaehyck loves his designer shops and fashion stores. We visit "Nature Takes A Hand"... I love their outdoor hanging garden and white timber seat out the front. Next onto 'A Cafe', an interior design project undertaken by O-Check's Jaehyuck and Su Yung - the founders of O-Check. When they're not busy designing new stationery lines they work on interior design projects for Korean companies. They have quiet a following in Korea for both stationery and interior design, and are respected as the co-founders of the design Korean stationery movement.

A Cafe is is such a beautiful space to visit with vintage and French inspired touches throughout. I love that Jaehyuck and Su Yung travelled to Germany and sourced these vintage green tiles used in one of the foyers. We see so much of this soft muted green used in their stationery designs like this Everyday Notebook. It is obviously a favourite colour of theirs, along with their constant homage to all things vintage.
