Illustrations by Christopher NeilsenChristopher Neilsen, Nigel Buchanan, Lew Keilar, Stuart McLachlan and Jim Tsinganos are five excellent and well-established illustrators who share a lovely big studio space in Sydney’s Surry Hills.. great space, great work… thought you might like to see!!
Thanks so much to Christopher for the shots! I have actually blogged a little of his and Nigel’s work before… but hadn’t seen some of this other great work until recently. WOWSERS, such brilliant stuff ! I especially love Stuart MachLachlan’s vintage-poster-esque illustrations for Singapore Airlines etc… and how about his paper styling?! I am not sure if there is enough room in my brain to lodge another name under the ‘awesome paper artist’ category. Lucky I have an external hard drive (aka a blog!) to store all these things!
ps) Dearest readers, as tomorrow is Good Friday, I have decided to take a day away from blogland so I will not be posting tomorrow! Shocking I know! :) See you next week as usual! xx

Love his workspace…. so great and inspiring !!!!
I love the shots with the children. Their crowns are rad. The only crown I eve got were the ones from burger king…I am SO jealous!
I love Stuart MacLachlan's work sooooo much. And I am jealous of all their wonderful studio space – I'll have to keep dreaming.
Thanks for this post. I'm really enjoying the studio shots, and Stuart MacLachlan's work in particular.
